LGN’s Top 10 Running Myths Exposed
New Years day 2012, Chariots of Fire is the midday afternoon film once more soothing your festive hangover and slowly a memory emerges from the night before, a memory of a cast iron New Years resolution you made - to run a marathon – because “if you are going to take up running for fitness it has to be the marathon” and as you reflect you agree with your previous logic and think, ‘Yeah, why not?’

Vizeum once more claim LGN 1km monthly prize
Leela from Vizeum added the August LGN 1km prize to the Vizeum victory in June with a 14% improvement in her time.
So it was back to the Asics flagship store on Argyle Street central London for 3D foot scan, video gait assessment and then the joy of choosing the most appropriate pair of running shoe from the 2011 Asics range.

LGN Regents Canal 1km
Welcome to LGN's only point to point 1km 'Loop' and to what is our flattest route as LGN Run Club members will speed along part of London's rich industrial heritage.

DDB Run Club member wins July's LGN 1km
LGN's 1km Loop prize winners have come from several different LGN Run Clubs in 2011 and July was no different as DDB UK provided the very deserving winner.
Sigrid was the winner and had managed to improve her LGN 1km Loop (Hyde Park route) time down by a whopping 10%.
Not only did Sigrid 'win' the emotive prize of knowing she acheived the biggest percentatge improvement from across our LGN Run Club members, but she also tangibly won the prize of LGN 1-on-1 expert gait analysis from our retail partners at Runners Need and a prescribed prize of top of the range running shoes from our Asics partners.

2011 Champions OMG UK
hoist the LGN Inter Advertising 5km trophy
This is the bling which had 500 industry runners and 30 teams running hard
After the 5km dust had settled and the oh so close advertising agency team results had been scrutinised via LGN video recording – OMG UK were rightfully awarded their 12 month lease of the LGN Run Club’s Inter Advertising 5km trophy.

Jones Lang LaSalle Property 5km 2011
500 people signed on this year to run the 3rd annual Jones Lang LaSalle Property 5km in Regents Park and raise valuable funds for affiliated charity Help the Hospices.
In 2011 the event went up another gear with on-site physio from the Injury Rehab team, a satelite bar facility , biomechanical expertise from Asics, not to mention the Pandemic steel band orchestra and post race isontic refreshment from Runners Need.

The Jones Lang LaSalle Property 5km, clear skys, fast & flat course & Regents Park Mosque as back drop - what more could you want....?
The weather also took a shine to proceedings and ensured as the race started at 6pm...

Anthony Nolan's Royal Romping 5km running joy
Once more the sun shone upon the annual Anthony Nolan Royal Romp 5km in glorious Regents Park.
The Royal Romp 5km runners registered early and like true blue bloods were instantly 'papped'
Congratulations to all runners, fundraisers, Pandemic Steel band members and the Anthony Nolan & LGN teams who helped make it such a feel good & smile orientated day.
Then the warm up began with LGN's elite Run Club trainer Shaun Dixon
And they warmed up, in dressed, super hero capes and cave man oufits, oh yes they warmed up
