One of the beautiful aspects to running is that while fitness can be measured, calibrated and downloaded onto a spreadsheet, how you actually use this fitness is somewhat less numeric nor black and white.
Instead pace judgement requires us to obtain a true feel for what our body is trying to tell us and the art of getting in tune with fitness is just as important as the training itself.

10th September 2009 and London's advertsing population awoke to sunshine and a day of bubbling anticipation for their industry's biggest running event, hosted on the day by LGN and in partnership with industry patrons NABS.
Majestic Regents Park complete with London Zoo animal exotica and visting tourists held their collective breath for the sweet sound of air cushioned soles and well seasoned tarmac coming together in beautiful union.
The Inter Advertising 5km was designed to bring to life LGN's Run Club philosophy that running as a tool for life fitness is absolutely for everyone. And with LGN expert guidance we hope all runners...

Congratulations to all Jones Lang LaSalle runners & their associates who ran the inaugural JLL charity 5km in aid of Help the Hospices.
Beautiful Regents Park played host and although the exceptional wind blew hard, all runners showed an able gazelle-like grace and skipped to the finish with smiling glee.... photos to follow may put this statement to the test.
Particular gazelle-like applause must go to Christian Olliver the men's winner in 18mins & 28 seconds and indeed Florence Davey-Attlee who was the first woman home in 20.02, both very impressive times given the windy conditions.

LGN Regents Park 5km course
Like bobsleigh champs doing their pre race head swaying race track prep... LGN realise that you need to mentally prepapre for your sporting route to build confidence and thus we are very happy to provide all 5km competitors with a 1980's a-ha video style photo story and old skool map of our Regents Park 5km race loop.
LGN is obviously a meticulous organisation and we did not attempt to measure this 5km course with GPS or an approximate running website, oh no, instead we combined Zen-like patience and 18th century Victorian craftsmanship and measured the course with fully calibrated measuring wheels - take a peek at our...

LGN Run Clubs are buiding up a beautiful head of steam as the Inter Advertising 5km (10th September 2009) gets closer each day.
The Run Club members at DDB UK, MediaEdge:CIA, McCann and TBWA all squeezed into the hurt box and made significant improvements on their previous LGN 1km times.
A sample of those improvements would include DDB's Rosie who took over half a minute off her previous best, Jenny, Lorraine, Luara and Cormac from MediaEdge:CIA who all ran personal bests this week and Martin & Jack from TBWA who almost broke the magic 3min barrier.

Just 4 weeks to go until the 2009 LGN Inter Advertising 5km.
LGN 1km London Loops are being pounded with beautiful running passion by all LGN Run Clubs as 5km runners prepare to for 10th September with true eye of the Tiger glee.
