Dolly Parton’s lung busting voice sang it and we like to think we at LGN help deliver the ‘9 – 5’ functional lung developing experience. LGN have been providing corporate in-house running clubs for several years, our growth has been a direct response to the fact that running is the most time efficient and truly functional form of exercise and our structured sessions can effectively be done from work. We always wondered what Run - DMC stood for, but we recently discovered it was 'Run - Definitely Minimises Coronaries', which for a 1980's rap / rock cross over band we thought was pretty cool... While Paul McCartney and Wings in the 1970s produced the seminal post-Beatles album called Band on the Run . . . , I doubt they were thinking 30 years ahead to a time of MP3 players and lycra going hand in hand. Failing to achieve Great 26.2 Expectations? LGN Regents Park 5km course Like bobsleigh champs doing their pre race head swaying race track prep... LGN realise that you need to mentally prepapre for your sporting route to build confidence and thus we are very happy to provide all 5km competitors with a 1980's a-ha video style photo story and old skool map of our Regents Park 5km race loop.
