Derek quite rightly holds his November LGN prize shoes aloft with a cheeky 1km winner's grin

Derek was put into a pair of Saucony 'neutral' shoes (no additional support) so Alex from Runners Need  could assess hsi gait

Derek was then let loose on the treadmill and had his biomechanical gait anlaysed via Dartfish software

Alex from Runners Need carefully explains what type of shoe is required for Derek's running style

And before long Derek emerges 1km shoe victorious with Asics 2170!
